Cam Nguyen, M.D.

Cam T. Nguyen, MD, is from Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She attended Morehouse School of Medicine, graduating with honors and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and is currently board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Nguyen taught English for a year in Japan to children and adolescents. Upon her return, she conducted research with the Department of Biology at Emory University, investigating the early embryonic development of the vertebrate enteric nervous system and the development of other neural crest derived structures. Dr. Nguyen is also interested in cardiovascular health and has participated in research projects with the Cardiology Department and the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She has published several articles in multiple peer-reviewed journals.
