Krutika Lakhoo, M.D.
Dr. Krutika Lakhoo is a Board Certified Internal Medicine attending with the Stanford Hospitalist Medical Group.
Dr. Lakhoo was born and raised in South Africa before moving to Chicago. Here she attended Northwestern University where she earned her Bachelors of Sciences in Communication Sciences and Disorder graduating summa cum laude. She continued to complete her medical school training at Northwestern as well. During her medical school training, Dr. Lakhoo was part of student government acting as a liaison between medical students and the medical school administration. She was also involved in quality improvement research evaluating where errors occur during the kidney transplantation process. She participated in various medical mission trips to Nicaragua, Mexico, Germany and South Africa providing medical care to underserved populations. She then moved out to the West Coast to complete her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lakhoo participated in journal clubs reviewing current scientific literature and presented posters at various research conferences.
Dr. Lakhoo speaks four languages. She enjoys swimming, running and traveling. Her other interests include dancing, reading and spending time with friends and family.
